Disney T00bage!

I went up to Downtown Disney today for lunch with the hp_california t00bs. The drive was uneventful, and I was oh-so-proud of myself for getting to the right parking lot without mishap. Seems I spoke too soon, however. No sooner had I parked than I realized that I could not find the stupid parking ticket stub anywhere. I searched my car, pockets, purse, but it was nowhere to be found. I talked to one of the attendants, but he said they don't do replacements and unless I found it I would have to pay the full day price - thirty bucks. Yeah, so that sucked.

Wasn't much else I could do but head on in. I spotted ixchelmala and delaria in the parking lot and we all went over to the Grand Californian Hotel together, where we met up with more t00bs at the Storyteller Cafe. bekkio, chickadilly, prncspnut, dsneyvoice (+ bebe!), constancev, and Nancy were all there already, and airemay, snoopypez, and mariannec all joined us later. The food was not worth what it cost (raise your hand if you're surprised, right?), but I did get my ground meat and bun fix, and the company was excellent. Very good to see everyone - it's been a while! We passed around pictures from the signing last week and just chattered.

Most of them were heading off to the park afterwards, but I just went back to my car, made another fruitless search for the ticket (I think I must have dropped it right after taking it in my rush to get back in the car - my broken window means I have to open the door to take those things), and drove home. I should say flew home - relatively empty freeway, the number two lane was doing eighty. And since they are all still t00bing, I get to report first. Woohoo!
